Ross-on-Wye Town Band

Ross Band was formed in 1924.  The band thrived and competed at Crystal Palace and Alexandria Palace. After a break for World War 2 the band started up again in 1947. The band continued until the late 1970's. In 1984 a public meeting was held to see if the band could be reformed. In January 1985 the new band started rehearsing with just 13 players.
